Bubble migration characteristics in power transformer oil under coupled stresses of forced vibration and electrical field

Abstract The stresses existing in power transformers lead to the generation of bubbles. They are primary source that worsens and leads insulation failure. Due complexity bubble dynamics, it is challenging figure out mechanisms. However, creation, migration, accumulation mechanisms require further explanation. A set experiments has been conducted provide a scientific overview results revealed buoyancy dominant low electric fields, while high fields affect bubbles' rise. Bubbles stretch oscillate moving. When field not strong, AC reduces duration volume detachment. Vibration stress on other side leading motion including detachment frequency migration speed. Under combination vibration stresses, distortion degree aggravates gathering formation easy. This research can deeper acumen bubble's actions beneath transformer under fields. It provides essential technique parameters deal with investigating problems related engineering areas.
